NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK 2018

This week is National Reconciliation Week. In our library sessions we will be reading the book 'No way Yirrikipayi!" by children from Milikapiti School, Melville Island with Alison Lester. I had the privelege of hearing Alison Lester read this book at the National Library in 2017 and she signed a copy of the book for our school. National Simultaneous Storytime

This week Amaroo School participated in National Simultaneous Storytime as a part of Library and Information Week. Classes from P-6 read this year's story 'Hickory Dickory Dash' by Tony Wilson and Laura Wood.




It is a great book and a bit of a twist on the nursery rhyme. We have a copy of the book in the library if you missed it and would like to read it.
